One of around 1,800 people to become U.S. citizens on Wednesday in Oakland will be a two-time Olympic swimmer, according to the department of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

Dave Dunford, who represented Kenya in the Olympics, will become a citizen Wednesday afternoon at the Paramount Theater in Oakland.
