Right, as a friend of his pointed out, there is this adventurer called Tomba, now well into swimming the 400 km coast of Albania, and vlogging pretty impressively all the way.
He originally planned to swim a 1200 km route across some Indonesian islands but had to change plans because of strong seasonal currents in the area.

So a month ago, he decided instead to swim the 400+ km coastline of Albania, as described in this video
And two weeks ago, the swim began
A week ago, he had apparently found a swim partner and was still swimming
And now, he is into night swimming or something
