Straight after work, it was north to Klaksvík to be interviewed on live TV about this upcoming dual meet and the fact that SwimmingWorld.TV will be hosting the on-demand videos. Meanwhile it gets mentioned on Streamlined News. Man, I hope our technical setup is gonna hold up tomorrow :-)

An interesting Duel in the Pool is taking place tomorrow. Swimmers from Iceland and the Faroe Islands will meet to determine which is the better country, at least in the pool. On paper, the tiny nation of the Faroe Islands has the advantage, on the strength of Pal Joensen, who placed fourth in the 1500 free at the world championships. We will let you know who wins the meet on our world channel at swimmingworld.com.

Here is the video from that live interview this evening. It is in Faroese, in short we’re talking about why Americans notice a dual meet here between tiny Iceland and even tinier Faroe Islands (I guess ‘Pál Joensen’), and then I get to predict the outcome (I hope we win, but Iceland are generally stronger). Hmm, those digital artifacts are a bit worrying.
