Former U.S. swimmer and Olympic gold medalist Klete Keller pleaded guilty Wednesday to one of the seven charges he faced in connection with the U.S. Capitol riot on Jan. 6.

As part of a plea agreement with federal prosecutors, Keller acknowledged unlawfully entering the U.S. Capitol and pleaded guilty to one felony count of obstruction of an official proceeding. The 39-year-old also offered to cooperate with investigators in exchange for the dismissal of the remaining charges.

U.S. District Court judge Richard Leon did not immediately set a date for Keller’s sentencing hearing, but the former Olympian is likely to serve prison time. The sentencing guidelines range for the obstruction charge is 21 to 27 months.
