Caeleb Dressel has won his first individual gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics, and it brought on a flood of emotions! The 24-year-old swimmer dominated in the 100-meter freestyle race on Wednesday, setting an Olympic record with a time of 47.02 seconds. But, it was the moment he saw his family on camera, who were watching from Florida, that moved him to tears. The Olympic athlete was overcome with emotion when he saw his loved ones virtually after the race. “It’s a really tough year, it’s really hard. So, to have the results show up, it really came together so I am really happy,” Caeleb told NBC Sports.
