See it: Distressed Swimmer Lifted By NYPD Helicopter In Rescue Off Far Rockaway

First responders in anÂ NYPDÂ helicopter were called to rescue a distressed swimmer inÂ QueensÂ on Friday morning.
Video shows the woman being hoisted from the water offÂ Far RockawayÂ near Beach 20th Street and Seagrit Boulevard just before 9 a.m.
A strong riptide swept the woman out too far from the shore.
