I was hoping this woman swimming along the beach yesterday would see the Manatee but she never did. It’s probably just as well because even if she knew what it was, for most people there is a moment of panic before their brain processes the information when a manatee startles them. The 3 people at the end of the video set a Perfect example for how to conduct yourself during a manatee encounter. They didn’t try to touch it or follow it and just passively observed.
