Friday 29 November to Sunday 1 December, the Faroe Islands Swimming Association will be hosting the 2019 edition of the annual Nordic Swimming Championships and Nordic Junior Swimming Championships in Tórshavn, Faroe Islands. See www.ssf.fo/nordic-champs-2019

On the event landing page www.ssf.fo/nordic-champs-2019, links are posted to the invitation, start lists, results, live timing and eventually also the planned live streaming service on YouTube, along with some practical information like the schedule and local time.

A total of 183 swimmers have announced their participation at these championships – 44 from Estonia (EST), 32 from Finland (FIN), 27 from Denmark (DEN), 25 from Iceland (ISL), 24 from Sweden (SWE), 16 from Norway (NOR) and 15 from the Faroe Islands (FAR), with a distribution of 92 females and 91 males.

I (Rókur) am for good reason quite involved myself, as president of the Faroe Islands Swimming Association, and you can, therefore, expect me to post more also here as the event approaches. We are working hard on making it as watchable as our limited resources allow, with good help from also professionals.
