Currently the air temperatures in Vardø range from -15 to -5 Celcius, with the regular gale force winds it often adds up to a wind chill factor of -25. The sea holds about +1 Celcius. I start most days with a dip in the harbour. Rather refreshing!Other then that it has been another busy couple of weeks at the Biotope office. We did a tour of the Varanger fjord, visiting a series of Biotope desgined architecture project. Our collegue Ben from the Biotope UK office visited Vardø (and showed off some solid Yorkshireness in his arctic initiation). It is spring in Varanger. Arctic style 😬 ❄️
