A woman in Finland is living out her childhood dream of being a mermaid. Maija Mottonen quit her job as a kindergarten teacher and now instructs people how to swim like the mythical creatures. She is Finland’s first professional mermaid instructor. Since she started in August, Mottonen has taught more than 200 students how to be mermaids and mermen.
