A swimmer from Bear Creek Village is still healing after being bit by a river otter last month.
It’s now been more than two weeks since the attack. The 57-year-old says she’s been swimming in the lake almost every day for five years, and she’s never seen an otter, much less had one bite her.
“The first bite went straight through my foot from one side to the other,” says the swimmer.
