World Championship gold medallist and Australia’s backstroke queen Emily Seebohm has today been nominated for one of the most prestigious sporting awards, ‘The Don Award’, presented by the Sport Australia Hall of Fame.

The Award is widely regarded as Australia’s leading contemporary sporting award and named in honour of Australian sporting Legend and our inaugural Sport Australia Hall of Fame Inductee, the late Sir Donald Bradman AC.

‘The Don’ is awarded annually to the athlete or team who; through their performance and example over the past 12 months (September 2016-August 2017) has most inspired the nation.
