”It’s like a grown-up sportsperson’s fantasy show in many ways,” Cash says. ”There’s comedians and sports stars on, and some crazy activities. It was like, ‘Wow, this is something I’d really like to do.’ And I’ve never laughed so much in my life. It was 10 shows of just laughing my head off.”

As for the ribbon twirling? Cash is one of the team captains on the series, which stars comedian Tommy Little as host and fellow sportsman Eamon Sullivan. That means taking part in a few quirky sporting challenges, including artistic gymnastics.

”Yeah, there’s some very embarrassing moments,” he says with a laugh. ”[That was] a lot harder than I expected.”
