For the past week or so, a monkey nicknamed “George” has visited the Kalidas municipal swimming pool in Mumbai, India, showing up at around 7am to swim for about an hour or so. It created a bit of a stir at first, kids jumping out of the pool and stuff, but it doesn’t bother the other swimmers, so members are starting to grow fond of it. “We have informed the forest department, and they will take care of the monkey,” said the pool supervisor, Milind Bhingarde, told Mirror.
