Australian surfer Stephen King was taking an early morning surf off the coast in New South Wales, when a shark swam up and lunged at him, scraping him and taking a huge chunk out of his surfboard.
“There was just a bang from the side and I went cartwheeling through the air, then there was this thrashing beside me.”
