As mentioned on April 29, Norway’s Forsvarsbygg is looking for new usage of the old sewer facilites under Festningsplassen in Oslo, with bidders being at least a cinema, a concert hall and a water recreational facility. Next phase is a “Fight Club” in the old (and I guess not yet renovated) facilities on June 1st, arranged by Oslo Arkitektforening (Architect Union of Oslo) and Oslo Byforum (Oslo City Forum), which will result in a winner being chosen at the end of the night. Fighting for the sewer pool, in the blue corner, president of the Norwegian Swimming Federation, Per Rune Eknes. As they say here, ‘For the first time ever, the Fight Club goes underground. It is guaranteed to become dirty.”
