Swimmer tackles ‘plastic vortex’ to highlight ocean pollution


Long-distance swimmer Ben Lecomte has undertaken the challenge of swimming 300 nautical miles through the so-called ‘plastic vortex, also known as ‘The Great Pacific Garbage Patch’.
