Freeze Divers. Freediving under ice, Russian freediver’s daring world record attempt

Andrey Matveenko is an experienced freediver and multiple Freediving World Championship medalist, but diving under the ice is a new experience for him. Freediving is challenging as it is, but doing it in the subzero temperatures and pitch-black darkness of a frozen sea pushes even the most experienced to the edge in this extreme sport. RTD joins Andrey as he heads for the White Sea to “see what they like about the cold” and attempt the world’s deepest dive under ice on a single breath.
