A heart condition prevented Sherry Colgin from continuing her career as a hand surgeon, but as she learned, when one door closes, another opens. An experienced triathlete, Colgin began to work with Paralympic athletes and the Wounded Warrior Foundation, helping differently abled people to enjoy—and excel at—the sport of swimming.
