On day 6 of the 17th FINA World Championships, Malaysia’s Jun Hoong Cheong scored a dramatic upset victory in a close final over the Chinese favourites to win the women’s platform diving title at the Budapest World Championships. Ashley Twichell won gold in open water, the Hungarian water polo team forced a draw against Italy, and Svetlana Kolesnichenko of Russia won the women’s solo free title today at the 17th FINA World Championships.
