Danish Swim Champs 2013 Day 1: Viktor Bromer takes down Benny Nielsen’s 26-year-old record

On this first day of the 2013 Danish Swimming Championships, Viktor Bromer from Aalborg finally managed to take down Benny Nielsen’s 26-year-old 200 meter butterfly record, 1:57.67 to Nielsen’s 1:57.74 from the European Championships in Strasbourg, France, August 22nd, 1987.

Bromer comments: “It just feels so good and I am happy and relieved now, as I have chased this record for 3 to 4 championships by now. So it is just cool, this.”
