Debrecen 2012: “Two years work in three months”


On April 11, the Debrecen 2012 organizing committee was approximately halfway through the preparations for the European Championships, or as director of the committee Mr Mihály Orendi puts it: “They usually award a European Championships to a host country two years prior to the beginning of the event. Two years – 730 days. We have had 96 days all in all, which is 13,13 % of the time. This is like a movie is fast forward mode. Which means we have completed a work of one and a half year so far.
