Four Wicklow athletes are among the 91 Irish team members who are competing at the Summer Games.

Swimmer Aisling Beacom from Wicklow Town who helped to establish the Blue Dolphins Special Olympics Club.

Bray man Paul Condren is part of the Irish football side.

18-year-old Rukky Atiyota from Delgany. is at his first ever World Games playing basketball.

Padraig Reilly from Hollywood is representing Team Ireland in Tenpin Bowling.
