Stibergs arrival to Szczecin delayed because the pilots overslept

She did okay today, Norway’s Katharina Stiberg, first qualifying this morning for the 50 breaststroke Szczecin 2011 semi-final in 31.13, and then this afternoon for the final in 30.94, before ending up fourth in the final with a 30.80. But hey, when she was supposed to leave Evenes in Norway, yesterday morning, it turned out that the pilots had overslept, making her miss the connected flight to Szczecin. So she had to find a new flight to Berlin rather than Szczecin, and take a bus from there to Szczecin, arriving here at the hotel yesterday evening, after a 15 hour trip. Nice. Via
